Introduction to the New Massive Make-up Website

Introduction

An artistic flare brought massive make-up to light. Although many artists find a canvas inspiring I find each face equally inspiring. The most important thing to remember when creating 'that perfect look' is your strength. What on your face is really your selling point? For most woman this can me any number of things; eyes, eyebrows, cheekbones, lips, skin, eyelashes etc. etc.

The most commonly made mistake is over doing the wrong feature. Just because you have a tube of dark lipstick doesn't mean you have to use it!

Tips for enhancing each feature:

Small eyes: if your eyes are small it is important to brighten up the colour with a white line on the inside of your eye. Try to keep dark colour from lining the entire eye. If you can, put whichever eyeliner you like along the outer lay of your eye under your bottom lashes and then with an eyeshadow brush go over the line to even it out.

NEVER line the entire eye

*Hint if your eyes are close together dab pale, light reflecting eye shadow to open and widen the space between your eyes

Cheek bones: it is a common mistake to use the wrong colour of blush on your skin tone. Many women do this and also tend to look a little "clownish" due to this common mistake. If you are going for a natural look then stick with a blush which is a few shades darker then your own skin colour. This will contour your face and help enhance the shape of your face.

If you want to wear a little more make-up for a special occasion then try to go for a shade which is still only a few shades darker then your skintone however you can mix this with a bronzer or a touch of pink.

FYI: The cheek bones are my secret tip to making each face look flawless. The most important frame to your face second only to your eyebrows!

Lips: it is very important to remember that your lips can easily destroy your entire look. Remind yourself that 1 thing on your face will be the highlight for each look and don't over do it by slapping on a huge lip colour. Sometimes I tend to just line my lips and blend that into them to give the look of richer lips but not lipstick.

*Tip: to enhance the size of your lips try applying your lipstick and then use a light reflecting shadow and dab it in the middle of your bottom lip.

Before even attempting that perfect look each day, remember each night and morning to take care of your skin with a healthy wash and moisturizer (SPF). Don't forget your mask once or twice a week.
